Position Highlights
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Location: Community Hospital/Flying Pig Cafe
- Final date to receive applications: Open until November 15, 2025
- Using professional cooking techniques, assist in the preparation of daily production of the salad bar and meals, including special meals, specialty salads, grab and go prep and catered events.
- Date, label and maintain all food items within the cook assistant stations and refrigerators
- Stock and restock all foods and service supplies used in the cook assistant prep areas and refrigerators
- Provides relief cooking. Coverage of cook line in the event of the cook’s absence
- High school diploma or equivalent OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of restaurant or food prep experience is preferred.
- Serv Saf Sanitation Certification or Mesa County Online Manager Course (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- $16.00 - $18.40 per hour, depending on education and experience.
