Position SummaryAs a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do- Be a Team Member:
Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicating and developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service. - Be an Expert:
Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality; demonstrates knowledge of point-of-sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques. - Be a Techie:
Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. - Be an Owner:
Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers, processes transactions, and maintains inventory, safety and compliance standards; reports complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products/services and work areas; completes paperwork and documentation. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Serves as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the Tire & Battery Center area and modeling high-quality service and products; develops, influences and inspires others; complies with policies and ethics; embraces Open Door Policy and applies it in business processes. - Respect the Individual:
Fosters a culture of belonging; works as a team; builds relationships; communicates with impact, energy and positivity; supports and mentors others. - Act with Integrity:

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
