• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance, and manage multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and offer recommendations; engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current store events and promotions to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues using product knowledge to offer alternative solutions; aim to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate cash register
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to 5-10 feet high
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and sales floor
• Communicate information with customers, management, and coworkers (phone and in-person) accurately
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and manage stock room duties
• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts
• Identify and follow instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for extended periods as required

Position Type: Hourly

Position Starting At: $15.87

Eligibility: 16+ years old; able to work flexible hours; comfortable with technology
