On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T0093) role s is an On-Demand TM position with flexible scheduling based on shift availability and store needs.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and assisting with their needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and communicate that you are glad they chose Target.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed. Be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Understand and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App.
• Handle returns by following register prompts and partnering with leaders as needed to resolve guest issues while following Target policies.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience in line with Target policies.
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up (OPU), Drive Up (DU) Orders, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours as needed for guest service.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and returns while complying with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• Support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations and cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
• Active engagement in picking up and working shifts; must work at least one shift within 5 months to avoid administrative termination.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., drive-up, carryout).
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
