Territory Sales Manager – Alside

We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to join our sales team in Grand Junction, CO. In this role you’ll lead new business development, manage key accounts, and drive growth in the building products market.

Compensation & Incentives
  • Base salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (experience based)
  • Commission: 55% uncapped
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, reporting and management efforts for assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain target accounts while driving sales growth and new business.
  • Understand and anticipate customer objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers to maximize revenue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and issue follow‑up, acting as a reliable partner.
  • Collaborate with supply centers and corporate resources to process orders.
  • Execute the A&M sales process and policies (e.g., credit, expenses, rewards).
  • Mentor other sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Present core product specifications, applications, and value to customers.
  • Apply knowledge of building codes and product impact.
  • Read blueprints and determine take‑off capabilities.
  • Sell remodeling, new construction, project work, and installed sales solutions.
  • Deliver accurate product demos to audiences of all sizes.
  • Negotiate market‑value pricing and consult with managers when needed.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience with a successful record.
  • Proven longevity in previous positions.
  • Self‑directed, highly organized, customer‑focused, detail oriented, and competitive.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • CRM experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in new business selling, upselling, and selling.
  • Will travel 70% of the week within the region.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
  • Experience in the building materials industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Working knowledge of core building materials (windows & siding) for single and multi‑family applications.
  • Experience with builders and architects to create larger ticket sales.
