Overview

Join to apply for the Telemarketer role at Farmers Insurance - Jesse Dryer in Grand Junction, CO. This is an entry-level position (Sales Development Representative) with the opportunity to grow within the organization. This is an in-office role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

• Make inbound and outbound calls to verify client information and connect them with the licensed sales team
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
• Maintain a database of current and potential customers

• Must enjoy communicating with clients over the phone
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
• Must be coachable
• Excellent communication skills: typing 50 wpm+, verbal, and listening
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated and determined

Compensation: $18.00 per hour plus bonuses. Benefits include hourly base salary + commission + bonus opportunities, hands-on training, PTO, retirement plan, and a Mon-Fri schedule with evenings off. Career growth opportunities are available, with potential to transition into Licensed Insurance Sales Producer.

This entry-level position has a growth plan to progress into licensed insurance sales, with licensure assistance and ongoing coaching.

A talented Sales Development Rep who follows our process can expect to make at least $40,000 in the first year including base pay and bonuses.
