Job Overview
White Castle Roofing and Contracting, Inc. ("Company") needs 18 temporary Roofing Helpers from April 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026 for work at various worksites in Mesa, Delta, Garfield, Montrose counties in Colorado, and San Juan County in Utah. Work is full‑time;
Monday–Friday; 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; 40 hrs/week. The Company uses a single workweek as the standard for computing wages, with workers paid once per week. Piece‑rate wages may apply based on volume of task completion per week, but workers are guaranteed a minimum wage of $25.82 per hour (higher rates possible based on experience or skill). Workers are also eligible for overtime pay of at least $38.73 per hour for all hours over 40 in a given workweek.
The Company assists with secure apartment‑style shared lodging and utilities at a rate of about $140 per person per pay period, with a refundable damage deposit of $400 per person. An optional advance of up to $300 may be provided for clothing and food, repayable from future paychecks if taken.

- Physically demanding duties related to new and re‑roofing projects.
- Assist more experienced roofers and crew leaders by using, supplying, or holding materials and tools.
- Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
- Remove old roofing materials.
- Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
- Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists, and use the same to take supplies to roofs.
- Cover roofs with layers of roofing felt or similar materials to prepare for installation.
- Assist with the re‑roofing process as directed by foreman.
- Maintain tools and clean work area and equipment.
- Assist with other projects ancillary to roofing projects.
- All duties to be performed utilizing proper fall protection and scaffolding.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to consistently lift 70 lbs (verbal confirmation required).
• No prior experience required; entry‑level position.
