The City of Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department is looking for an enthusiastic Recreation Coordinator – Fitness & Adult Programs to lead the daily fitness operations of our brand-new Community Recreation Center. This position oversees hiring, training, and supervising group fitness instructors and program staff while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for everyone. The coordinator will plan and manage fitness programs and other adult programs that engage the community and promote health and wellbeing.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we prepare for the opening of the new CRC. The CRC features a three-lane indoor track, over 7,000 square feet of fitness space with a variety of cardio, weight, and circuit training equipment, an outdoor artificial turf area with additional strength and functional training equipment, and three group fitness rooms.
