Overview

FT, 4x10, Approximate schedule is Wed-Sat 07:15-18:45. This position requires you to cover routes out of our Basalt Facility. You may at times need to stay overnight based on peak shipping times and inclement weather. Daily food per diem per day. Hotel and additional food per diem when overnight stay is required will be paid for by Fed Ex.

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex standards; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area; provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma/GED.

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with adequate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials per FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance required since customer contact is involved. Must meet and maintain the qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record as outlined in policy. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Requires ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Full-time 4x10 shift:
Monday (06:30am-06:30pm), Tuesday through Thursday 07:15am-06:45pm. All shifts based on operational needs. You may at times need to stay overnight based on peak shipping times and inclement weather. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. The information represents the minimum and maximum for the job level. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience, market level, location, and other permissible factors. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Current hourly rate: $22.30. Pay range for overtime: $22.30–$33.84.

Delivery Swing Driver. You will be transported to Basalt or possibly Eagle every day to work a route out of the Basalt or Eagle Facility.
