Shift schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. Shift incentive includes a 10-15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training, and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.

What you can expect as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at West Star:
Whether you are replacing or repairing parts, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems or performing inspections on some of the most sophisticated civilian aircraft in the world, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth.
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues.
- De‑fueling aircraft.
- Engine removal/installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs / taxiing.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar.
- Technicians have limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance aspects.
- Technicians require close supervision of general maintenance tasks.
Amt II: 2-4 years of experience in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential; general maintenance knowledge more advanced with general supervision.
Amt III: 4-6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred; full knowledge of general and special assignments.
Amt IV (Master): 6+ years of experience; extensive experience on corporate aircraft; subject matter expert in all areas of the job.
Your EducationA high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Your Sense Of ResponsibilityAttend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments. Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work. Must have reliable transportation to get to work each day. Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties. Maintain customer‑oriented work habits.
