The Staff Accountant II will focus primarily on Accounts Receivable and Inventory Accounting, playing a key role in month‑end close, financial analysis, and process improvement. This position partners closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager and Controller and is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on accounting and analytical work.

• Maintain accurate general ledger and sub‑ledgers in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including month‑end entries related to AR and inventory.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including bad debt accounting, sub‑ledger maintenance, collections support, and documentation.
• Assist with inventory accounting, including excess and obsolete inventory calculations, inventory costing, and month‑end inventory entries.
• Track and analyze production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Manage fixed asset and inventory accounting records.
• Participate in inventory counts and related adjustments.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide explanations to leadership.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support operational decision‑making.
• Identify errors, recommend process improvements, and help enhance accounting efficiency.
• Develop and document accounting policies and business processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
