Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with an established organization near Grand Prairie, TX. They are hiring a Staff Accountant on a temp-to-hire hire basis. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month‑end close.

• Record client payments and resolve discrepancies such as errors, overcharges, or short payments.
• Prepare and process scheduled payment runs for service providers.
• Generate and distribute invoices and account statements to clients on a regular basis.
• Process bank deposits and credit card transactions within the accounting system.
• Complete journal entries and maintain recurring entries as needed.
• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with bill processing and check issuance.
• Support internal chargeback processing.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as requested by the Accounting Manager.
• Provide general support to the accounting team.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Experience with Sage, Net Suite or similar ERP systems, highly preferred
• Manufacturing or Industrial Services experience, preferred
