Christian Brothers Automotive was founded in 1982 because there was a void in the auto repair industry. Customer service and honest, genuine auto repair service was tough to find. We haven’t changed our focus in thirty years. We still have some of the original employees on board, and we all still believe that it’s possible to provide the best auto repair service with the best customer service.
Job Description- Be honest about all vehicle assessments and recommended repairs and/or maintenance.
- Thoroughly review each assigned vehicle and build a detailed estimate of repairs and/or maintenance to the approved standards of the Owner and/or Service Manager.
- Check the shop provided All Data resource for vehicle Technical Service Bulletins (“TSBs”), and turn in to the Owner or Service Manager with the estimate.
- Repair and/or maintain customer vehicles to the best of your ability using proper generally accepted procedures.
- Upon completion of the repair or service the technician must road test every vehicle.
- Have a positive attitude while at work.
- Look for ways to provide exceptional service to the customer.
- Remain flexible in all areas to ensure we provide our customers with exceptional service.
- Clean assigned bay areas to the approved standards of the owner including your tool box each day before leaving the shop.
- CBA Technicians must be team oriented
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing any/all types of vehicles
- Flexible and Focused on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Excel at diagnostics and drivability problems
- Have the drive to and the ability to turn 40 hours or more per week
- Ability to quickly master factory scan tools
The technician is expected to have at least 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining a variety of makes and models. The technician is also expected to have the experience to clearly explain why a repair is needed and why certain parts are needed to properly repair each vehicle. ASE Certifications are an integral part of how Christian Brothers Automotive represents itself to our customers.
Therefore it is important that you have ASE Certifications. If there are any you lack, (A-1 through A-8 and L-1) you will be expected to secure them as soon as is physically possible.
