* Job Summary:

** Performs assigned work in support of the Dynamic Component Shop.
*
* Primary Responsibilities:

* * Overhaul: 50%
* Disassembly of Components
* Cleaning of aircraft parts.
* Reworks parts for the Overhaul process
* Inspects parts for continued airworthiness
* Assembles parts for repair or overhaul
* Uses Maintenance Manuals: 20%
* Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine rework limitations
* Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) proper cleaning methods
* Refers to Manuals (electronic/paper) to determine how to dis-assemble components
* Uses Computers/Tablets to Make Record Entries: 20%
* Documents labour hours against service orders
* Documents defects noted during dis-assembly, cleaning, and re-work activities
* Documents labour efforts for payroll requirements
* FOD/Tool Control: 10%
* Inventory tool box daily
* Reporting missing items
* Verifying calibrations are current
* Area clean of foreign object

*** This position requires technicians to read and understand technical data in relation to the gearbox they are performing maintenance on. They must be able to ask questions of their lead technician or assigned trainer is they do not understand the technical data or assigned task before taking action that could cause damage to equipment or injure themselves or others.
