Supply Chain Fulfillment Coordinator

The Senior Direct Fulfillment Coordinator oversees and optimizes day‑to‑day direct fulfillment operations to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, shipped on schedule, and supported through final delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, carriers, and internal teams, driving accountability, resolving escalations, and improving fulfillment performance. The senior coordinator provides guidance to junior staff, leads process enhancements, and ensures service‑level commitments are consistently met.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Order Management:
    Monitor and manage high‑volume or complex orders from receipt to delivery; validate order accuracy, pricing, lead times, and vendor availability before release; proactively identify at‑risk orders and take corrective action to prevent delays; oversee EDI/portal‑based order workflows and troubleshoot exceptions.
  • Vendor & Supplier Performance Management:
    Serve as lead liaison with key fulfillment vendors and 3PL partners; track and enforce vendor SLAs, on‑time shipping rates, and order accuracy; conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement; resolve advanced issues such as chronic delays, quality problems, or capacity constraints.
  • Logistics & Transportation Oversight:
    Coordinate complex or multi‑stop shipments and ensure optimal transportation methods; review carrier performance, transit issues, and freight discrepancies; partner with logistics teams or vendors to improve routing, packaging, and shipping accuracy; manage escalations involving lost shipments, claims, or urgent customer deadlines.
  • Inventory Visibility & Data Accuracy:
    Monitor vendor inventory trends and identify risks impacting customer fulfillment; maintain accurate ETA data and update systems with real‑time status changes; analyze historical fulfillment data to predict stockouts or peak demand challenges; support implementation and accuracy of ERP or OMS fulfillment data.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication:
    Act as fulfillment subject‑matter expert for customer service, sales, and operations teams; provide timely updates on major accounts, delayed orders, or operational risks; support new program launches, onboarding new vendors, and establishing workflows; train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior coordinators or support staff.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:
    Identify process gaps and develop solutions to enhance speed, accuracy, and reliability; build and maintain fulfillment dashboards or KPI reports (OTD, backorder rates, vendor performance); recommend and help implement system improvements or automation opportunities; drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors, expedite order flow, and increase customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred; 3‑5+ years of experience in fulfillment, supply chain operations, logistics, or vendor management; strong ERP/OMS skills (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar); EDI experience a plus; experience supporting large retail, e‑commerce, or B2B fulfillment programs preferred.
