Sign Production Technician

We are looking for an energetic, creative person with extensive sign industry experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate should enjoy working with customers while producing signage that is both functional and eye‑catching.

Please note, this is NOT a graphic design position.

• Crafting a wide variety of signs from inception to completion.
• Co‑lead orders with subcontractors.
• Responsibilities are requested but not mandatory.

• 5+ years of sign industry experience
• Experience pre‑flighting and creating proofs from client's artwork.
• Understand sign fabrication methods and determine how signs are to be built.
• Track record of efficiently creating shop drawings and layouts for permits, fabrication, and installation.
• Broad knowledge of sign materials and substrates.
• Background in large‑format digital printing, vinyl creation, and application.
• Expert with Plotter and Laminator.
• Ability to make banners as well as acrylic, metal, and foamboard signs, cut vinyl, etc.
• Ability to install complete vehicle graphics, wall graphics, floor graphics, lobby signs, and interior way finding signage.
• Working knowledge of sign industry software.
• Strong computer and file management skills including Adobe Illustrator, Onyx, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Extremely detail‑oriented.
• Professional, patient, and polished communicator with customers and coworkers.
• Teachable.
• Sales‑oriented, team player.
• Good math skills for measuring, pricing, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with coworkers, customers, and subcontractors.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
