Alpha is reimagining education, building a new kind of school that moves fast and puts students in charge of their learning. We guide, coach, and push kids to be better than they thought possible.

We are looking for a high‑performer who can inspire students to embrace curiosity, take ownership of their growth, and develop a mindset that is truly limitless.

Pay: $60.00/hr (Independent Contractor, 40 hrs per week, 50 weeks per year)

Location: In‑person at Miami, FL;
New York City, NY or San Francisco, CA.

• Motivating and mentoring students through direct, daily engagement—no lectures, just powerful peer‑level coaching
• Using adaptive learning tech and AI platforms to help each student learn at their own pace
• Leading small‑group workshops focused on life skills, leadership, and real‑world success strategies
• Helping students discover their strengths and expand their ambitions through personalized growth planning
• Contributing to the ongoing innovation of Alpha’s learning model with data, insights, and bold ideas

• Delivering scripted lectures, grading worksheets, or managing behavior in a traditional classroom
• Acting as a tutor, babysitter, or homework helper—this isn’t remedial support
• Operating inside a rigid system with little room for initiative or creative input
• Ignoring technology—our approach is built on using the best tools to fuel growth, not replace it

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Demonstrated record of high performance (e.g., top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions)
• Experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to work in‑person at Miami, FL;
  New York City, NY or San Francisco, CA

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position as an independent contractor. Compensation is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
