Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Program Production Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering advanced missile-defense solutions through effective manufacturing processes. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving manufacturing excellence across the PAC-3 Command Launch System Sustainment activities requiring support of domestic and international repair and/or refurbishment activities while creating strategic risk and opportunity plans to incorporate development and production initiatives into post-production effort..

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling.
* Integrate new technologies such as automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing software to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
* Create and analyze 3D model data and engineering specifications to optimize processes and digital work instructions.
* Evaluate equipment performance, identify deficiencies, and initiate corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
* Use factory data to develop statistical process-control methods and data-analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
* Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques to ensure producibility and reduce cost.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and the candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline

• Applied experience in manufacturing and assembly process
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Hands-on experience using CAD in a professional environment

• Previous experience in writing work instructions

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired

Skills:

• Experience in Depot/sustainment programs

• Experience with Windchill

• Tooling and fixtures design experience

• Experience in design for manufacturing

• Proven experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency

• Ability to design, integrate, and update tooling systems (i.e 3D printing, CNC machining, or similar manufacturing technologies)

• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) experience
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
