Description:
You will be the RF Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Line-of-Business, supporting Development Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Grand Prairie, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth). Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be Doing
As the RF ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including Test Stand®, LabVIEW®, and Python, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing. Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and Integrating RF test equipment hardware and software for an X-Band Datalink
• Designing and Integrating RF Interface Units (RFIU)
• Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX, part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. [Recruiter to Provide link for location information] This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% domestically. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
An Interim Secret Clearance required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 10+ years of professional experience
• Experience Designing Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
• Experience Designing Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
Desired
Skills:
• Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
• Experience Designing RF Test Equipment
• Experience performing Over the Air (OTA) RF testing in Anechoic Chambers
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
