You will be the Quality Engineer for the Precision Fires Business Process Engineering (BPE) team. Our team is responsible for standardizing requirements, developing and maturing processes, conducting audits, and managing projects to accelerate progress and increase efficiency. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring product and process excellence across the Precision Fires BPE group.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Standardize engineering requirements to align with business objectives.
* Develop, refine, and mature manufacturing and test processes.
* Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance.
* Manage cross-functional projects that drive efficiency and reduce cycle time.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher. 2+ years of professional experience. Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing. Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration. Ability to travel 25% of the time.

AS1900 interpretation and application experience Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques Demonstrated ability to use analysis tools to perform Root Cause and Corrective Action In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures Familiarity and knowledge of Quality systems such Aerospace (AS) and International (ISO) Experience working with government customers and suppliers Supplier Quality Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
