Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and advancing our quality standards across multiple locations. This position is integral to ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting both production and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute daily quality operations at our CA and TX facilities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer concerns, OEM/retail claims, and quality-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with OEM R&D and Product Development teams to support APQP and PPAP documentation, as well as develop DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and control plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Manage and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee non-conforming material processes.
  • Supervise inspection processes, including check-fixture validation and FARO PCCM system oversight.
  • Maintain document control and quality records, including the creation and revision of specifications, procedures, and packaging instructions.
  • Administer calibration programs to ensure all measurement tools and equipment remain compliant and up to date.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with AIAG standards, product development cycles, and OEM supplier requirements (e.g., Toyota QIMS, GM).
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001 principles and calibration practices.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings with strong GD&T knowledge.
  • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines.
