Description:
You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer Sr for the Precision Fires Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of production test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise. What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including Test Stand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing. Your responsibilities will include:
* Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
* Upgrading and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed
* Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
* Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
* Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting Why Join Us

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% to Camden, Arkansas and Lufkin, Texas as needed. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and at least 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent related professional experience
• Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
• Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Desired
Skills:
• Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand
• Experience and Ability to work in fast based environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products
• CAM experience (IMS, BOE) is a plus
