As the Operations Analyst Sr on the Industrial Engineering team, you will support site-wide production by applying manufacturing and Industrial Engineering concepts.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Conduct capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize production workflows
  • Perform span reduction analysis to streamline processes and reduce waste
  • Conduct throughput analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize production rates
  • Analyze and reduce Hours Per Unit (HPU) to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive change and implement process improvements
  • Create and maintain discrete event simulation models and develop dashboards to track key performance indicators

Legal and Security Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)
  • Experience working with Simio Simulation Modeling or other discrete event simulation modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and present to multiple levels of management
  • Experience working in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Skills
  • Experience in aerospace defense industry
  • Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes
  • Tableau, SQL, Python, Data Analytics experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time – The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
