We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Poker Supervisor to join our team at Palace Poker! The Poker Supervisor will oversee daily operations within the poker room, ensuring a smooth and efficient gaming experience for all players. This role includes general supervision and management of staff, enforcing game rules, handling player disputes, and managing gaming integrity while developing customers.

• Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop, monitor and lead team members in such a manner to maintain a positive employee relations culture.
• Monitor and manage poker games to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Resolve disputes and address player concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Motivate and supervise staff to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established departmental and guest service objectives.
• Train and mentor poker dealers, providing guidance on game procedures and customer service.
• Report shift activity on a daily basis in the poker log book and coordinate with other shifts.
• Monitor game play to identify and address any potential issues or irregularities (marking, switching, counting cards).
• Notify Security staff of any suspected irregularities.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction amongst poker room patrons.
• Resolve customer and team member complaints if you cannot escalate to shift manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the poker room.
• Explain and interpret house rules, such as poker rules and betting limits, for patrons.
• Ensure procedures for opening and closing of the poker room are followed according to established procedures.
• Assist with determining how many poker tables to open each day and schedule staff accordingly.
• Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for Team Members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Avoid discriminatory language or behavior.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
