Director of Recruiting at Acara Solutions

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Compensation: $54 – $60 k per year + competitive commission plan.

About the Role

This position combines customer and employee services with recruitment. The role offers growth opportunities and continuous learning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and vet job orders, secure approval from management, source, screen, interview, and present candidates to clients.
  • Exercise independent judgment and strong interviewing skills to match candidates with suitable placements.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics, community networking, and candidate placement follow‑up.
  • Act as a liaison between Acara, clients, candidates, and contract employees, representing our company’s values.
  • Provide administrative oversight for contract employees and ensure smooth onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
  • Foster community relationships through engagement, strategic networking, job fairs, and client interactions.
  • Retain a pool of temporary/contract employees to meet client demands.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Recruitment Specialists to address client needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to address and resolve escalated personnel matters.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
  • One to three years of relevant experience; experience recruiting for technical and advanced manufacturing is preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
