Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Define clear goals, performance metrics, and career development plans for team members.
- Recruit and retain top engineering talent.
- Technical Strategy & Execution
- Own the software development lifecycle for digital solutions, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with product management and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive adoption of modern software practices (Agile, CI/CD, Dev Ops) and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
- Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Lead initiatives to integrate advanced technologies such as IoT, cloud platforms, APIs (REST, OPC UA, MQTT), and data analytics into our solutions.
- Champion digitalization strategies aligned with company vision and customer needs.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, product management, and customer success teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
- Represent the software engineering team in strategic planning and roadmap discussions.
- Operational Excellence
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for software delivery and team productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), microservices architecture, APIs, and IoT protocols.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with energy management systems, industrial automation, or digital solutions for power distribution.
- Knowledge of edge computing and integration with industrial IoT platforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks for predictive analytics or optimization in industrial applications.
- Experience with controls automation systems and integration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, C#, and SQL for application development and database management.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be open to 20% travel.
- Proven track record in managing distributed teams and delivering complex software projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and transform existing methodologies.
- Passion for knowledge sharing and driving organizational learning.
- Experience with data analytics, AI/ML integration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and secure software development practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
- Hands‑on experience with API management platforms and secure API design.

The pay range for this position is $135,303–$231,948. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
