Junior Web Developer

Salary: $65,000 - 72,000 per year

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus experience with at least one programming language through coursework, projects, or work experience.
• Ability to read existing code, troubleshoot problems, and learn unfamiliar platforms and tools.
• Experience with Word Press and Woo Commerce.
• Familiarity with ERP systems;
  Net Suite is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control tool and basic testing practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate with colleagues outside of IT.
• Associate or bachelors degree in computer science, software development, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with a content management system, e-commerce website, APIs, databases, or basic automation scripts.
• Ability to provide a portfolio or examples of work.
• Ability to work on-site in Grand Prairie, Texas. Candidates in the DFW area and surrounding communities are preferred; relocation is required before starting for those who need to relocate.

• Build and update website pages, product information, forms, and features in coordination with our IT/Marketing Manager and marketing team.
• Write, test, debug, and maintain code for our website and related digital tools.
• Troubleshoot website issues, including broken pages, links, and forms, and help maintain reliable content and features.
• Test website changes across common browsers and devices, contributing to usability, accessibility, and performance improvements.
• Support website integrations with other systems and automate routine tasks when assigned.
• Document changes, track work, and follow established security and version control practices.
• Assist with other programming and IT projects, communicate progress, and accelerate complex issues.

We are hiring a full-time, permanent Junior Programmer at Laguna Tools for an on-site role in Grand Prairie, Texas. The position works closely with our IT/Marketing Manager and marketing team to support marketing technology, online sales, and the customer experience. We do not offer relocation assistance or employment sponsorship. The role is based in a professional office and involves regular computer work, communication, and periods of sitting or standing.
