CNC Programmer / Operator I Master Cam
Location:
Grand Prairie, TX
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full Time | Day Shift
Protech Staffing is seeking a motivated CNC Programmer/Operator I with hands‑on experience using Master Cam. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist or trade school graduate looking to grow their programming and machining expertise in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Program and operate CNC lathes and mills using Master Cam and manual G‑code.
- Create and modify programs at the machine and save to proper file directories.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and vises to support production and prototype parts.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools to verify tolerances.
- Adjust offsets, tool changes, and feeds/speeds to maintain part accuracy.
- Communicate efficiently with supervisors on process improvements and tooling needs.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, organization, and fluid levels.
- 23 years of machining experience or trade school certification.
- Proficient with Master Cam programming and G‑code editing.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and detail-oriented.
