Manufacturing Engineer – Lead the development, integration, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing systems and processes at our Grand Prairie manufacturing plant. This role is critical in driving automation, data connectivity, and operational excellence across our production environment.

You will make an impact by:

Manufacturing Systems Integration:
  • Support Automation team and manufacturing systems in deployment of wiring cells, automated material conveyance (AMRs), and assembly cells.
  • Utilize data analytics tools (Mendix, Mindsphere, Tableau, MES) to monitor performance metrics, automate reporting, and drive data‑informed decisions.
  • Lead projects focused on safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost reduction through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Operational Support & Project Management:
  • Oversee manufacturing capability, continuity, and process documentation for new product introductions and production line improvements.
  • Manage capital expenditure (Cap Ex) projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, vendor coordination, and execution of equipment installations.
  • Apply project management principles to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and stakeholder alignment for all manufacturing improvement initiatives.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, i.e. Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands‑on experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and fixture/equipment design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
  • Proven ability to manage Cap Ex projects, including cost justification, procurement, and implementation of production equipment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems and/or quality management systems
  • Experience with ERP (SAP or similar), and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.

The pay range for this position is $82,538 - $141,494 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
