Inventory Control

Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Shipping/Receiving department. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high‑quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Poly-America is the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compo under of polyethylene in the world.

The selected candidate will be responsible for processing orders and all associated documents, staging material, performing cycle counts, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting of materials. Duties include receiving, unpacking, delivering goods, processing and documenting returns, and adjusting any system errors as needed. The role requires frequent travel between buildings using a bike or forklift, exposing the employee to outdoor weather conditions.

• Process orders, transfer orders, and all related documentation.
• Stage material and perform cycle counts in a timely manner.
• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods within the facility.
• Document returns and adjust system errors as required.
• Operate bike or forklift to move between buildings.
• Monitor, store inventory, and resolve discrepancies.

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control ordering.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts and report data accurately.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Capable of receiving, stocking, and delivering goods efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in outdoor and non‑climate‑controlled environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to convert units of measurement.
• Preferred:
  Shipping and receiving experience; manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Computer literate and quick to learn required software.

Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position.
