Inspector II

Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
  • Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating department standards.
  • Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects.
  • Provide corrective actions and preventative measures.
  • Perform Receiving, Preliminary, In Process, and Final Inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Systems, Customer and Regulator requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (not in the process of obtaining).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an A&P not in the process of obtaining it.>
  • Physical demands: lift and carry up to 75 pounds; comply with OSHA standards; work in a warehouse setting.
