Associate Manager, Retail

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in developing and executing strategic plans to deliver a profitable store business. This role helps lead operational excellence, talent development, client engagement, and brand standards, and acts as a key decision maker in the General Manager's absence.

• Analyze business trends and support strategic planning and store initiatives.
• Educate the team on sales and profit tools, and support a consistent customer experience aligned with brand expectations.
• Assist with client development, community outreach, talent strategy, recruitment, coaching, and employee development.
• Manage store processes, inventory control, productivity, and execution to achieve shrink goals.
• Promote new selling technologies, uphold company policies, and maintain sales floor and store standards.
• Share business trends and profit opportunities with the General Manager and District Director.

• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and coworkers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts, and to travel as required.
• Ability to stand, move, and walk for extended periods and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
• College degree or equivalent is a plus.
