Job DescriptionAt Vital Records Control Companies, our sales team is the backbone of our success. The Regional Development Manager will leverage a strong understanding of the sales process to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with robust negotiating skills and a talent for showcasing our offerings compellingly. They will frequently present, attend networking events, and represent VRC at trade shows, requiring a personable and professional demeanor.
Objectivesof this Role
- Represent the company’s products and services, gaining a deep understanding and conducting consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
- Build, grow, and maintain a consistent pipeline through successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas.
- Generate leads and build relationship planning by organizing the daily work schedule to actively manage face‑to‑face sales visits with existing or potential outlets throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, adjusting sales techniques based on field interactions and results.
- Actively participate in industry associations within the assigned markets to increase awareness of VRC, attend assigned trade shows, and remain current with relevant market trends.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close net new business across all service categories offered.
- Possess in‑depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
- Prepare professional, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation for executive‑level presentations.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process, often utilizing product demos and presentations.
- Coordinate with other sales staff to ensure company quotas and standards are met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience within a company setting (required).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to present to upper‑level management and C‑Suite.
- Proficiency with sales‑management software and CRM systems.
- Personal integrity.
- Ability to travel 40–50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas.
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills.
