As a Maintenance / Carpenter Associate, you play a key role in supporting the team that brings unforgettable experiences to life. In this role, you’ll inspect, repair, fabricate, and maintain Bright’s rental products, custom builds, equipment, and facilities. You ensure that all items—whether stages, furniture, bars, décor pieces, or warehouse structures—are safe, functional, and event-ready. Your work directly contributes to the quality, reliability, and visual excellence our clients expect.
You’ll complete tasks safely, maintain an organized workspace, and uphold Bright’s operational standards, while assisting with various projects across multiple departments as needed.

About You- Demonstrated experience in maintenance, carpentry, fabrication, or a related trade
- Proficient with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Knowledgeable in building maintenance, equipment repair, and safety regulations
- Comfortable with fabricating and customizing rental items following design drawings or specs
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
- Electrical certification is a plus
- Carpentry skills are a plus
- Welding experience or certification a plus (MIG/TIG or basic metal fabrication)
- Build, repair, refurbish, and customize event rental items such as stages, walls, bars, furniture, archways, and décor pieces
- Fabricate new rental items from scratch using wood, metal, laminates, and specialty materials
- Read and interpret drawings, renderings, and shop sketches to complete fabrication projects
- Perform finishing work, including painting, sanding, staining, touch‑ups, and detailing
- Inspect Bright products to ensure they meet quality standards and perform necessary repairs
- Carry out basic building and equipment maintenance tasks
- Repair hardware, wheels, casters, hinges, brackets, and structural components
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and warehouse structures
- Safely operate various hand tools, power tools, woodworking machines, and fabrication equipment
- Use required PPE consistently and follow all Bright safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
- Assist with warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading trucks, staging materials, or supporting event prep
- Assist other departments with tasks such as painting, sanding, assembling, welding, or fabrication when needed
- Support on‑site event setups on occasion, making minor repairs or adjustments to ensure structural safety and quality
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to stand or walk for 8–10 hours, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Frequent use of hand and power tools; regular bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, and reaching
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
