Basic Qualifications

• Must have Active DoD SECRET Clearance
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field
• The candidate must have previous HWIL experience working with real‑time embedded systems using both HW/SW
• Experience with low level software development / device drivers
• Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher for C++)
• Proficiency in Linux systems and Real‑Time Operating Environment
• Experience integrating hardware and software
• Experience in real‑time software generation, with hands‑on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or simulation systems

You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. You Will Be Doing

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions for real‑time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11 or higher)
• Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

Annual base salary range: $113,900 – $200,905 for select states. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Annual base salary range: $131,000 – $227,125 for most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York. State‑specific ranges apply for other locations.
