Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Location: Grand Rapids, MI – On-site

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support mechanical construction projects from planning through completion. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow into a project management position while gaining hands‑on experience in all phases of construction.

• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and project documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, manpower planning, and subcontractor performance.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep work on track.
• Support the development of field change requests and maintain accurate as‑built records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  , Construction Science
  , or PMP Certification

• Minimum 2 years of construction project experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• OSHA‑30 certification (or willingness to obtain within six months).
