Job SummaryThe Assistant Estimator will support Estimator and Project Managers throughout the life cycle of construction projects. Responsibilities include completing detailed takeoffs for various sized jobs, preparing preconstruction paperwork, and attending pre‑ and post‑bid meetings.
Job Responsibilities- Work with Project Managers on new job takeoffs and complete them on time, including all addendums and revisions to existing construction projects.
- Attend pre‑ and post‑bid meetings to clarify details and produce accurate cost estimates.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with limited direction.
- Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple revisions for multiple ongoing projects.
- Willing to learn and adapt to company methods while bringing fresh perspective when appropriate.
