Overview

Standale Reformed Church (SRC) is seeking a Worship Leader who harbors a deep passion for Christ through which they strive to lead a worship experience that opens the hearts of our congregation, fostering opportunities to encounter God.

Standale Reformed Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church of America (RCA). Our congregation is age-diverse and passionate about an inspiring, life-giving worship experience. Our time of worship is a blend of hymns and contemporary music. We strive to live out our mission each and every day:

• Possess strong leadership skills to develop and maintain a worship team that raises the honor of God’s name; building, recruiting, and growing a community of artists along the way.
• Exude and inspire a high level of excellence and commitment to the worship program in order to build a worship culture that loves Christ and honors worship.
• Understand and own the value of a powerful worship experience by designing life-giving services that allow people to encounter God and engage their hearts.
• Seeks to live a life that is rooted in Christ, loving God and neighbor.

• Stay connected with and coordinate the worship team, organizing a schedule that supports the team and the needs of the church.
• Input songs into Worship Tools and check to see if the right song verses are on the slides.
• Lead rehearsal one hour on a weeknight and on Sunday morning before the service.
• Lead worship on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
• Arrange for special seasonal worship events throughout the year.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Pastor and team at SRC.

This position will be 10 – 12 hours a week; however, we are hopeful that in the future to increase the role. Design your own hours and work in a hybrid environment for all prep work.
