Position: Service Advisor Level 1 (Entry Level)

Job Overview

Service Advisor Level 1 (Entry Level) at Community Automotive Repair in Grand Rapids, MI. This full‑time onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with customers, providing exceptional service and automotive repair insights. Earn an attractive salary of $56,000–$78,200 per year, inclusive of commissions. You will handle scheduling, follow‑ups, and ensure all customer inquiries receive prompt attention.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and understand their automotive repair needs.
  • Clearly communicate service options and recommendations.
  • Schedule appointments, perform follow‑ups, and manage all customer inquiries.
  • Accurately document service requests and generate quotes.
  • Coordinate with technicians to relay necessary information and updates.
  • Consistently deliver outstanding customer service and solid sales skills to build long‑term relationships.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service abilities, professionalism in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to address concerns and complaints while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Solid grasp of automotive repair processes.
  • Proficiency in software tools for documentation and communication, including Microsoft Suite and multi‑line phone systems.
  • Experience creating and managing Repair Orders (ROs), tracking parts, and maintaining accurate invoices.
  • Prior customer service or sales experience and strong math skills for pricing and markups.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 0–2 years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Completed Elite Pro Service Sales Master University within 2 years.
  • Must be able to carry a 20–32% workload (about 20 cars per week) while meeting scorecard metrics.
