Customer Service Rep, HelpDesk/Support
Location: On site at a BEST corporate client
Reports to: Lead Concierge
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 40 hours per week;
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This position supports the employees of BEST's corporate clients by taking everyday tasks off their plates so they can focus on their work and well-being. This is an active, on-the-move role, not a desk position:
Concierges spend much of the day running errands on and off campus, with a heavy focus on shopping, shipping, and returns. You'll work as one of a two-person team at a busy program, so a go-getter attitude, teamwork, and dependability are essential.
When personal to-do lists follow employees to work, stress builds and focus suffers. As a Concierge, you give employees back their time and peace of mind, and you help our clients build a workplace people want to join and stay in.
What You'll Do- Off-Campus Errands — use your own vehicle throughout the day, with mileage reimbursed, to shop, pick up items, handle returns, make post office runs, and provide courier services.
- Shopping & Shipping — quickly and efficiently navigate multiple retailer apps for curbside pickup, coupons, and deals, and manage shipping and return requests from start to finish.
- Auto Appointments — schedule appointments, take customer vehicles for repairs, oil changes, tire installations, rotations, gas fill ups, and auto washes and/or details.
- On-Campus Services — coordinate with local vendors to bring services on site, such as dry cleaning, vehicle servicing, and lunch delivery.
- Convenience Services — keep stamps, cards, and other products on hand, and sell tickets to local and national attractions.
- Travel, Events & Research — plan getaways and events down to the details, support client events, research gifts, service providers, and the best deals.
- Engagement & Outreach — bring a marketing mindset: proactively engage employees, promote services, discounts, and promotions, and support on-site events to grow program use.
- Teamwork — partner closely with your teammates to share the workload, cover for each other, and keep service seamless.
- Requests & Documentation — respond to requests in person and by phone, email, text, and the BestURequest app; deliver on time; and accurately capture every request in Salesforce and BEST's point-of-sale system.
- Every Day — protect confidential information and systems, adapt as tasks evolve, and live out BEST's core values: trustworthy, compassionate, resourceful, results-focused, and value-creating.
- Five-Star Customer Service — professional, warm communication and a creative, personalized service mindset that makes every request feel special.
- Critical Thinking & Independent Decision-Making — you solve problems on the spot and make sound calls on your own.
- Time Management & Prioritization — you juggle many requests at once, plan efficient routes, and deliver on time.
- Technology & Digital Resourcefulness — you’re comfortable with smartphone apps, a laptop, Salesforce, and Outlook, and you learn new tools quickly.
- Initiative, Ownership & Accountability — you see what needs doing and do it, without being asked.
- Adaptability, Dependability & Composure — you follow through for your teammate and your customers and stay calm under pressure.
- Organization & Attention to Detail — you keep requests, receipts, and records accurate and in order.
- Experience — at least one year in fast-paced customer service (three to five years preferred), with hospitality, retail, or concierge experience a plus; accurate data entry with CRM and point-of-sale systems.
- Requirements — valid driver's license, reliable transportation, required vehicle insurance, and a satisfactory motor vehicle record; and ability to pass a background check…
