Compensation

$21‑22 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while ensuring patients feel comfortable
  • Set up and break down the operatory for post‑treatment care
  • Take dental radiographs (x‑rays)
  • Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Provide patients with follow‑up instructions after all dental treatments
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Qualifications
  • Dental Assistant Certificate, where state regulations specify
  • X‑ray certification, where state regulations specify

Working Environment &

Physical Requirements

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. The role requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at times.
