• Proficiency in Revit

• Bachelors in Architecture

• Experience in architectural design and project management

• Familiarity with construction documents

• Licensed/Registered architect or ability to achieve licensure within a year

• Architecture experience within commercial buildings

As a Project Architect, you will engage with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and objectives. You will design buildings by creating detailed architectural plans and designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up. Your role includes developing estimates for costs, construction time, and special requirements, preparing scaled drawings, and overseeing staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets.

You will draft work contracts for subcontractors, monitor construction sites, present proposals, ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards, and collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure project success.

• Meet with clients to discuss their project vision, requirements, and objectives.

• Design buildings using CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up.

• Develop initial cost estimates, construction time, and special requirements for projects.

• Prepare scaled drawings showing the appearance and interior structure of buildings.

• Direct staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets.

• Draft work contracts for building subcontractors.

• Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with architectural plans.

• Present proposals to clients and the public about upcoming projects.

• Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and other professionals to ensure project success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Grand Rapids, MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Dec 5, 2025.
