Design Sales Enablement Consultant

Location:

You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:
  • Delivering training, onboarding, and resource support for dealer designers through virtual and in-person sessions.
  • Collaborating with dealers and internal partners to support the development, maintenance, and utilization of showroom spaces, including premier partner areas.
  • Partnering with the Smart Tools team to ensure tools align with designer needs and evolving workflows.
  • Designing and updating training materials, resources, and content to empower dealer designers and enhance their effectiveness.
  • Supporting dealer design leaders and teams by identifying capability needs and aligning learning priorities with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitating engagement sessions, workshops, and learning experiences both remotely and on-site.
  • Building relationships across the sales enablement ecosystem to strengthen alignment and elevate the dealer designer experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a designer in the contract furniture industry.
  • Degree in Design.
  • Expert understanding of the furniture design ecosystem, including dealer design processes and tools.
  • Working understanding of CET.
  • Demonstrated passion for supporting learning, with the ability to communicate concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience delivering both in-person and virtual sessions.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work self‑directed, plan work, and prioritize effectively.

Skills and Experience:
  • Smart Tools knowledge, with awareness of how dealer designers use the tools and where support is most needed.
  • Leadership experience within a furniture dealership, demonstrating the ability to guide or support design teams.
  • Experience working at a dealership, bringing strong understanding of dealer design processes and workflows.
  • Ability to identify training needs and translate them into actions that align with strategic priorities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with design leaders, designers, and cross‑functional Steelcase teams.
