The Learning Experience - Beltline
Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
The toddler years are filled with first words, new friendships, growing independence, and plenty of exploration.
The Learning Experience - Beltline is seeking an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher who can create a structured, engaging classroom while giving young children the encouragement and consistency they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily classroom activities and routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, and language
- Encourage communication, independence, and social-emotional development
- Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required
- Toddler experience strongly preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred
- Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills
- $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
