SCADA Controls Engineer III (M/F/D) – TGW Logistics

The SCADA Controls Engineer III develops and configures SCADA solutions for implementation in industrial material‑handling projects. This senior‑level role works closely with the Technical Lead and other Controls team members to ensure successful SCADA deployment and provides post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and training. The engineer serves as the subject matter expert on SCADA topics and mentors junior team members.

• Serve as the subject matter expert and main point of contact on SCADA‑related matters.
• Develop and configure SCADA solutions, including Ignition, WinCC, and TGW’s proprietary SAV software.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in control systems and Linux‑based environments.
• Troubleshoot and address internal and external connectivity issues.
• Deploy virtual machines (VMs) to maintain infrastructure efficiency.
• Conduct basic PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000 to support automation and controls processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) or more years of Controls Engineering experience, preferably in material‑handling, industrial, or warehouse environment.
• Advanced knowledge of control systems troubleshooting, PLC programming, and SCADA systems such as Ignition and WinCC.
• Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with the ability to read e‑drawings and AutoCAD drawings.
• Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7 (STL, SCL, FBD, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience working on full design‑to‑production project life cycles.
