Engineering Manager

Safari Circuits, LLC., a leading electronics manufacturing services provider in Otsego, Michigan, is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our engineering team in a fast-paced, multi-shift manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee engineering activities, collaborating closely with customers, sales, and the manufacturing team to ensure products are designed, built, and tested to the highest standards.

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers and technicians. Train, mentor, and develop team members. Assess resource needs (personnel and equipment).
• Project & Customer Management: Monitor and track engineering project status. Provide regular updates to customers and leadership. Develop quotations for new engineering projects.
• Technical Oversight & Compliance: Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for impact. Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable standards. Oversee validation plans and results for test equipment.

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 2+ years of experience managing a team. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Preferred: Electrical Engineering experience with product and process validations. Familiarity with UL approval and EMC / EMI testing. 3+ years of hardware/software design experience. Programming experience in C#, LabVIEW, or Visual Basic.
