Key Responsibilities:- Design and detail custom machines, fixtures, and automation systems using engineering principles and CAD tools.
- Select and size mechanical components such as gears, pumps, bearings, hydraulics
, and piping systems
. - Collaborate with a team of experienced mechanical designers to bring concepts to life.
- Create and review engineering drawings
, bill of materials (BOMs), and bid specifications. - Support continuous improvement and innovation in machine design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Proficiency in Solid Works is preferred; experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro/E, or other 3D CAD platforms will also be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Internship or co‑op experience involving machine design, automation, or material handling equipment.
- Exposure to robotics, servo systems, vision systems, or PLC‑based controls.
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience.
