** What's in it for you:
** As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Trane, you will be responsible for designing the equipment and systems that support these goals.  You will lead engineering teams, develop concepts for new & improved commercial HVAC products and solve complex technical problems, leading to production of sustainable new products.

* What you will do:

*** Develop product designs to meet performance, regulatory, quality and cost requirements.
* Review and understand the technical feasibility of product and internal requirements.
* Understand and apply applicable regulatory codes such as UL.
* Participate in product improvement activities to identify opportunities to improve product performance and reduce cost. Lead projects to implement subsequent product design changes.
* Design and select robust and cost-effective components and develop engineering specifications.
* Complete system integration tasks including engineering design, engineering specifications, support creation of layouts and design reviews.
* Provide leadership to engineering teams including engineers, designers, lab technicians
* Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data to ensure product performance and quality.
* Manage project schedules and teams for assigned projects.
* Perform process improvement projects to improve team productivity.
** What you will bring:
*** Bachelor’s Degree BS in an Engineering discipline.
* 5+ years experience leading technical aspects of product design projects, validation testing, and root cause analysis.
