Member Service Representative

Bloom Credit Union is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative at our Creston Branch. Our Member Service Representatives are responsible for assisting members with their lending needs.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CU
  * Answers experience preferred.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detailed oriented.

• Assist members with the loan application process.
• Pull credit reports and calculate the debt-to-income ratios.
• Prepare loan applications for underwriting and complete necessary documentation to fund or deny a request.
• Open memberships.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and make appropriate recommendations of products and services to meet the financial needs of members.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and accounts and related policies and procedures.
