The Investment Operations Associate is responsible for the support the day-to-day operational functions of our investment platform. This includes opening and maintaining client accounts, trade processing, portfolio operations, client service, and investment-related workflows. This role is ideal for someone expand their technical expertise in investment operations.
ESSENTIAL ROLES & OUTCOMES- Collect, verify, and maintain client information required to open and service investment accounts
- Monitor and support the ongoing management of client investment portfolios
- Execute securities transactions accurately and in a timely and efficient manner
- Process asset movement requests, including transfers between accounts
- Prepare and generate customized client statements and reports
- Maintain precise, well-organized records of all transactions and account activity within client accounts
- Receive, document, and respond to direct client requests promptly and thoroughly
- Understand and adhere to supervisory requirements while maintaining compliance with all applicable industry regulations
- Collaborate closely with firm Partners to support client solutions and investment recommendations
- Utilize proprietary and third-party software systems to manage and service client investment accounts
- Perform miscellaneous operational and administrative duties as needed to support daily business functions
Most of the position will require working at a computer and calling/emailing clients. Occasional offsite client meetings may be required.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTSSIE, Series 7 and 63 required. Life, Accident, Health & Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses will be required within 1 month of offer acceptance.
